How do I create an API key?

Click "Create a key now" above – no e-mail, no signup. Or via terminal: curl -X POST https://api.bigapi.dev/v1/keys (Windows PowerShell: curl.exe). Either way the key is shown only once – save it immediately.

Is my key safe on this page?

The key stays in this browser and is sent only to api.bigapi.dev. "Remember on this device" stores it locally on this computer – don't tick it on shared machines.

I lost my key – what now?

A key cannot be recovered – treat it like cash. Create a fresh one with the curl above. Tip: put the key into a password manager right after creating it.

Key vs. account – what's the difference?

The key is the account. Credit belongs to the account behind the key; additional keys for the same account can be created inside the console under "Keys".
